My husband and I use to frequent this place quite often as it does not disappoint . The choices for breakfast are plenty, including pal appam and rava thosai which is my favourite. This restaurant has mastered the art of doing the Rava thosai, the right way which is thin, slightly crispy with sufficient add on in the batter. The chutney's are tasty and fresh. Their banana leaf vegetarian spread is generous as there are 3 types of vegetables to satisfy your hunger instead of the usual cucumber given in competitive restaurant. The cow's milk brew with a dessert is a delightful way to end a delicious and flavourful lunch.
Visited Lotus Family Restaurant Gazing for some delicious Indian cuisine. We ordered 4 sets of basic banana leaf rice, mutton curry, mutton chicken, fried sotong, and fried bitter gourd. The total bill was RM107, which is reasonable for the portion and quality. The food was flavorful, especially the mutton dishes, and the service was good. A nice spot to enjoy authentic Indian food with family and friends. Will definitely come back again!
Came here after Bukit Gasing trail. I heard so much about this Indian restaurant. I ordered the banana leaf rice and idli pair with mutton curry and chicken curry, both were delicious but the chicken is really spicy to me. I love how they provide you the sauces and you just take whatever you need.
Good Indian restaurant- it has been here for more than 30 years! Food is very good - mainly because the gravies (curries) are warm and thick with flavours. Prices are slightly expensive but you get good quality, comfort and good service. The cashier lady has worked there for 41 years - there must be some secret ingredients in the food that kept her going strong
